Dimpie and Jupiters Christmas gifts!

I love Christmas and one of my favorite parts about it is Christmas Shopping! (Especially when you have a lot of money to spend! ) anyway, I’m going to tell you what I got for my special dogs, Dimpie and Jupiter for Christmas. As one one of they’re extra Christmas presents in 2011 I got them each a doggy Christmas stocking! So that means I don’t have to wrap they’re presents as well! Phew! I got Dimpie one of those long sticks where you there’s a socket where a tennis ball fits in and then you throw it….. It’s kinda hard to explain! I also got him a Greenie, which is a long green treat that my dogs LOVE plus it’s really good for them. And finally I got him a bone. Jupiters gifts are basically the same, the Greenie and bone, except I for his toy, i got him a cute dog that rattles! All in all I think i got them nice presents and i really in enjoy spoiling my dogs!

The Nutcracker

Even though its already 2013, I thought I would still tell you about my December. First of all I did Cape Town City Ballets end of year production, The Nutcracker. When I auditioned earlier in December I wasn’t sure at all if I would get in, I mean this is South Africa’s leading ballet company we’re talking about! So you can imagine how excited i was when my mom got the message to say that i was in! In the end I actually got three roles in the production, I was a Party Girl a Butterfly and a Rat! My costumes were pretty cool! Anyway, at the Nutcracker there were guest performers from Russia, Daria and Verdem. They are amazing dancers who I really look up to. I even got a photo with them at the end of one of the our shows! Our last performance was on the day before Christmas Eve, the (23). The Nutcracker has been a wonderful experience, and I enjoyed it to the full!

2012 has been an amazing year! But I’m soo excited for 2013! This year I am doing the Cambridge Foundation Corse, for school. Which is grade eight and nine together. As well as school I’m also doing a Training Program at home to improve my ballet. And I’m loving it!

Relaxing in Scotland

We went to Edinburgh for two days. It was really fun there, we went to the Edinburgh Museum, the Edinburgh Castle and we walked the Royal Mile! Next we moved on to Aviemore, where we are now! I am enjoying myself soo much. We went on a boat ride on the Loch Ness, whilst keeping a look-out for Nessie! Today we hiked around Loch Morlich and then canoed on it for an hour, it was great! Tomorrow we are going horseback riding and fishing which i cant wait for! I’m looking forward to it. Right now my family and I are relaxing in our chalet watching the Olympics. Go South Africa! Our second Gold medal in the swimming pool and it’s only the fourth day!!

Bath

We went to Bath for two days. It’s a beautiful place! We stayed with family friends, the house we stayed in, as well as being huge was very pretty. The history in Bath is amazing what with the Roman Baths being there, the oldest Medieval Church in Europe and the famous Stonehenge. I enjoyed my stay there very much!

Thursday I went to go see a movie with my cousin, Ice Age 4. Movies are much cheaper in South Africa! Friday I wasn’t feeling great so I stayed at home and relaxed while my sister and mom went to the Tower Of London and the London Museum. I’m hoping to get there before we leave London. They also went shopping in Oxford Street and came home with loads of clothes and shoes. My mom got me a pretty dress, shoes and a top. It made me want to go the next day and see what else there was!

We went to Madame Tussauds two days ago. It was so cool seeing so many famous people up close and taking pictures with them. One of my favorite photos was with Nadal!

Thorpe Park

Today we went to Thorpe Park! Wow! It was thrilling going on so many huge super scary roller coasters. Unlike the theme park we have at home, which only has one big roller coaster, Thorpe Park has 13 big rides and 12 tamer ones! My favorites were Colossus and Stealth, which are two of the biggest rides!

Shopping in Central London!

Today we went shopping in central London! I bought loads of things, (in Harrods case, I just looked) but it was great going to popular ballet shops like Bloch and Sansha. I’ve already bought all the touristy items like the “I love London” hoodie and the London strappy bag. I also bought clothes from “Pineapple” and H&M and I bought a cute Scottish teddy bear in the famous toy shop, Hamleys. I’m so tired from all the walking we have done today and yesterday, but I’m looking forward to Thorpe Park (a theme park) tomorrow which has the fastest roller coaster in Europe!

I love London! Today we took a trip into central London on the tube. We went on a tour in a double decker buss. It was amazing looking at all the sights and just being there was great!
